i got a 98 srx 700 with the ohlins shocks and i was gonna refill my rear shocks... i take it these are nitrogen shocks because they have an air nipple on them.. when i got my sled the front shock broked the head off cause the bottom bar broke the tabs off so i got the top welded back and and he rest of the shock is fine...i noticed it clipped the air valve and the shock seemed very weak the wasnt much pressure that came out of it so i just threw it in.. the sled has a huge darting problem but i believe its because this shock has no pressure it wont even try to pick the skis up...(and the carbide are sitting perfect).. so i was gonna get it recharged but dont know how much it takes pressure wise... i have a friends in the gas buisness that can fill them for free with nitrogen but needs the pressure specs...i figured i'd check the back one as well while i'm doing one... does anyone know and can it be done this way...i dont wana to pay 80 a shock when i can get it done or free.....any help would be great
