hey all,
had new top end put in my sled (99 srx) halfway through last season, and was advised to run pre-mix in the gas tank. ended up leaving the fuel in the tank till last week, with no stabilizer. had to start it a few weeks ago to move it, and she started up after about 4-5 pulls. last week i had some free time, so i drained the nasty old gas out, and also decided it wouldnt be a bad idea to clean the carbs. after that, took me about 30 pulls to get her started, and she was only runnin on the center cylinder. then DUH i remembered that i didnt even change the plugs so the next day i went and bought some and threw them in. now....im not getting ANYTHING. was out there tugging the HECK out of it all afternoon yesterday. full choke half choke no choke everything. pulled the plugs a few times and they were barely even wet....
just wondering if i should just keep pullin or what? im figuring that it took MANY pulls after putting the carbs back on because the bowls had to fill up and there was no gas in the lines...and i only let it run for a moment on the 1 cylinder. any ideas/suggestions?

Put a little mix fuel down each cylinders and pull her over, could be a mix of oil/gas in the fuel pump...You could reach down and loosen one of your fuel bowl drain screw (pto is easiest) and see if there's fuel getting to the carbs bowls...After my rebuilt, I pulled 13 or so times before she fired up...I just did the reset of the fuel screws and it was a liitle hard at first and only ran on two until all carbs had fuel...go easy on her till all the carbs get fuel...
