Dont waste your money esp. on a stock machine. I'm gunna be running BR9ECS which are SRX plugs, just for the simple fact that they disspate heat better and I'm running pipes. My dealer told me that BR9EV are no longer avaliable unless you find leftovers, I use to run them in my bike.

I'm running NGK Br9EVs but thinking of goin with the Splitfire equivelent...

Tried the splitfire plugs several years ago when they hit the market. Thought they were great plugs, seemed to really make the exciter pull, but started having some kind of problems, thought it was the cdi.......determined it was the plugs. Change back to NGK and problem went away.
Got to talking to yami mechanic and he had found out that the fact that the splitfire doesn't have any narolling (sp) on the porcline (sp) that it was allowing moisture to get in under the plug wire cap.
Just some info.

the br9ecs is supposed to be anti fouling. do a search on this, there was a big discussion about this last year.

Not trying to start a fight but if a plug gets LOADED up its gunna foul out, NO MATTER WHAT PLUG YOUR RUNNING.

has anyone run the iridium BR9eix plugs, Im not worried about fouling the br9es just wondering if i would notice an improvement in starting and snappyness if that makes any sense.
If i run an iridium plug do i have to switch to premium fuel.
