I cleaned the carbs on my 02 viper, and noticed that one of the float bowl rubber rings was a little flat, but I assembled it, because I didn't have a extra, but it seems to run great. What could happen if that ring doesn't seal good? How can I tell if it didn't seal? Can I tell if I tip the sled on the sides, would it leak gas? I'm going on a trip this weekend, and worried if it would cause problems.

If it didn't seal, gas would be leaking down the sides of the bowl,
you should be ok,did you tighten the screws good??

can you find a seal by this weekend if your worried?

screws are tightened good. would gas leak if it was sitting level, or would I have to tip it? I don't know how high the fuel sits in the bowl.

I'd change it if I questioned it like you are. Or at least put it on the pto carb so you can monitor it on the trail. If it leaks and you can't see it, the leak could eventually cause a disaster on the trail.
