Paint removal MM tunnel extension 4 Viper conversion

I have a painted ( silver / gray ) 02? Mountain Max tunnel extension that I'm putting on a 136" Viper project. Is there an aluminum surface underneath that paint that can be polished up to match the 02 Viper tunnel?? Thanks

yes, just use black label zip strip on it before you mount it, it will wrinkle the paint right up on it and you can hose it off, wont hurt the aluminum surface with liquid stripper. The black label zipstrip is the powerfull stuff, the yellow label is sisssy stripper, but black will eat it right off. If you cant find it use a aircraft paint stripper

I have a stripper that I used to strip a set of powdercoated M10 rails, so I'll give that a try first
