Procedure for removing Tach in SRX

I am sure I have to disconnect the headlight and carfully take out the whole headlight so I can get to the Tach.Don't want to break anything in the headlight area.

If you have small hands you can just simply undo the cables and use a wrench, i think 10mm and take the tach out, a little harder to put back in. If not just take the windy off and then disconnect all cables and wires and remove entire gauge pod, oh ya there is a small plastic screw that holds the pod to the headlight take that off too.........been there done that both ways.............James

Thanks for that informative description there ReaperSRX.I will take a look at it tonight to figure which way is best.
