Well the stable just got bigger :)

2001 SRX, $2,800

brought her home yesterday(25th),she's in great condition don't need
much, one control arm is tweaked a little so i'll have to look for a good
used or new one,she needs a good bath and wax job, hasn't been done
in awhile but i'll have her shining like new in no time, every thing seems to
work all lights and electrical. track(stock) is studded like new condition
with 144 picks, the sled is all original all stock and she's crazy a$$ fast
love it.:).

plan on doing the PV's and all the other regular maintenance as time allows
won't be riding it for awhile till i get her up to ship shape.

she runs strong, pinned outa the hole she sits at 82-8300 then climes to
85-8600 and pulls hard so i think clutching is right on...

no amount of money could buy this sled from me she's found her last home.:)

well i guess that's all for now, just posted one quick pic. not to good
but i had to run and plow snow..:)

Hell no it's all good man,your alright...LOL

Excellent-another SRX lover-may they live on forever!
Well with us lunatics, I guess they will! :bump:

That's awesome Daman! Congrats.
I was going to buy an SRX until I saw the Viper. Those two selds have to be my favourite ones these days.

Nice sled man! If you enjoy it half as much as I enjoy mine, you're right it's found its last home. The SRX is the meanest muscle sled ever made in my opinion!

Thanks guy's,, yea i've always wanted one you guy's that had one always
made me crazy jealous, and reading all the threads on the srx's just made
it worse lol,so when i found this '01 i had to pull the trigger.

probably won't run her much this year allot of little nit picking to do
and maintenance, plan on pulling the skid and going right threw it
same to the front too,no plans on doing any mods i want her stock
and original, she's fast enough for me.:)

akrievins i thought about a vipe too but there hard as hell to find around
here too,plus i wanted a srx more..

00-SRX-700 i agree.:)

blumagoo come on man where's the pics dude???

daman you better believe they are fast enough.Put 60 miles on mine today and wanted to see what she would do.You won't be disappointed my friend.Might need adjustable transfer rods because when I pin it ,the front end wants to fly. It's crazy man,it liked it just wants to lift the front, and as power band comes in ,the lifting still continues.Only problem if you pin it and are in a staright path, you will not stay on track when the ski's are up because you can't steer it.I will have to work on the transfer thing to lift just a bit and then stay down constant to WOT.It is wicked daman.I love the power it has.I won't do anything major to mine either.Cosmetics a little and maybe slight clutch tuning.Next season maybe new ski's and down the line one day a new track, but she is good to go for now.In the summer I will replace bearings, bushings and clean up the engine compartment.Check for any missing bolts or nuts, etc.

Well i got some used valves on there way, question is i want to
replace the seal(#20) and gasket(#18.) in each valve, i think them
are the only ones i need??? because i never opened up the other half
my cables are good.

also..... could i reuse gasket #18?? it looks good yet no tears.

IT MUST HAVE BEEN YOU THAT STOLE THOSE VALVES FROM ME!!!!! lol i got so pissed off because there was a set on e-bay that i was bidding on. Sold for about $130 before i had the chance to bid again. This included the valves, cables and servo.

I had to order new from the dealer today for $315 plus taxes. LOL and that's just for the valves. If that was you that got those congrats, just don't cross paths with me!!! LOL :bash:
