Hey guys i own a 99 mm700 and the other day i blew a belt replaced it with a a yamaha spare i had and bought another yamaha belt as well. since blowing the belt. after riding the sled for a while and after stopping the belt screeches. doesnt do it on start up just after it has been moving for a while.tried both belts the both behave the same way. was told the clutch might need to be adjusted. if so is it somethin gi can do myself or should i bring it to the shop. any ideas/ advice is appreciated

very easy to do, remove the secondary clutch and on the back there is 3 bolts which may have washers you need to add/remove washers until the belt sits max 1.5mm or min. of 0.5mm above the secondary sheave. where are you from?
