Hey Guys , a friend of mine is having problems with his phazer , put boyesens in it , now its starveing any ideas what size jet he should try , He has 146's in it now

He should'nt need to rejet just because he put aftermarket reeds in it.
a 146 main is super fat even at sea level !! Sounds like he has other problems. Is this sled otherwise stock ?

Sled is fully stock besides uni filters , He put the reeds in and has a bog at top end, he said he tried bigger jets than stock and made it a little better , Bogs at 60 km now, And sorry he has 147 jets in it now

The BIGGEST mistake you can make with a Phazer that has stock carbs is to remove the stock air box !!! The stock carbs have a VERY lean part throttle condition that is not easily cured. Removing the air box makes it WAY worse ! He can go up on the main as much as he wants it will not cure his lean spot !
He should remove the uni-filters and put the stock air box back on and rejet the mains to 143.5 .
