Hey guys...
I purchased kimpex idler wheels awhile back for my Vipe..much like the image attached...Long story short...I'm installing them now and they sit really loose on the bold/hub...Curious if there's bushings or somthing that I can slide over to make it snug...?
I really dread having to pull all the bearings out...and my garage isn't totally equiped for that...Curious if you guys have any input or part numbers for my dilema...
cheers

I think you need to take the old hubcap thingys off the original wheels and snap them on those.
Exactly bluewho, just take your original plastic inserts from your idler wheels and snap then in those and everything will bolt back up.

Have you had anyluck with those wheels? I used to have those on my srx, and every single one of them blew apart. Now I had 4 of them on the Rx-1 and this passed weekend one blew apart, and one is on the verge to blowing apart. Gotta put the stockers back on now.
Just wondering your luck on these?
P.s mine were from yamaha, but im sure they are all the same ones.

I'll be looking into this tonight and riding on the weekend...actually I was lookin yesterday on info and I think I recall you stating somewhere about this happening...
I have the rear kimpex on without any problems yet...thought I'd try these...I'll be keeping the stockers just incase...I've heard from different sources that once ice/snow builds up in these they effect performance...unsure if thats true...I figured I'd at least look good for now and see if it affects anything during my rides...I'll keep you informed...
OH and mine are Kimpex got them tax off here in Canada and still $5 cheaper than Yamaha...I figured why not...

I bought a dozen of the aluminum stock-looking Kimpex idler wheels on sale a couple of years ago. They blow apart after about 50 miles, have already replaced about 8 of them. Can't wait to use them up so I can get some real wheels.
