He said he would take 1500.00 without the trailer. Is this a good deal or no? Only has 2K miles on it but no idea how hard the miles were and what the condition or the motor is. He said its stock, and he cleaned the carbs every 2 years. So whatcha think??

missed the 97 part. sounds a bit sketchy now.
If the odometer is also km's than actual miles would be around 1700. He is probably going by the manufactures date on the sled. wich for a 98 the date would be 97 on the sled. The sled looks a bit rough, but a SRX with low miles for 1500 is probably going to be hard to find.

It also appears to have surface rust on the hood vents. While this is cosmetic I would be leary about what else could be rusted. Possible this sled has seen a bit more open trailering than most. Also it appears to have been rear ended. A bent bumper and the tail just below the brake light. Might not be a big deal (I rear ended my own sled last year when it was parked and bent the bar quicker than I could say ****) but if the cooler is under there what is it's condition?
Ya he told me that he never knew he had to clean the PV's so next sled!!!
