Does anyone have any idea why my 1991 Phazer II is burning out bulbs, headlight tailight and speedometer bulbs? I put a new bulb in it and will burn out in about less than a minute when the sled is running.

You need a new voltage regulator. I had the same problem in our 87. When I plugged the volt meter into the headlight plug it showed six volts at idle and as the throttle was opened up the volts climbed accordingly. When I saw 36 volts I figured good enough and shut it down. I don't know how far it would have climbed, but I wasn't surprised that a 12 volt bulb didn't live long at 30+ volts.

My little bro's arctic cat Jag 340 was blowing the bulb pretty much as soon as it was put in. Cahnged the voltage regulator and he's had the same bulb for over a year. Cheap 20 dollar part.
Good luck.
