put new studded track on, making noises

I put a new 1" lug track with1.080" studs on my 1998 600 vmax sx. It is making a clicking noise when i ride it. It is not the studs hitting, I checked that already. What could it be?

lugs hitting the protectors? bearing bad/failed? When do you hear the noise? Is the speed of the noise increasing linearly with speed or exponentially or is it increasing then dropping depending on torque load? Is the chain the proper tension?

Does the noise still happen if you turn the track by hand with the sled off?

when i hit the brake it is the worst, but it seems to be there all the time.

check your brake rotor, mine went bad and the tabs(connection) of the disc to the hub wore and went bad, causing the vibration

could this be wrong track tension? if so , how do i know when i have the right tension?
