Is it mechanically impossible to make a 600 twin run with a srx 700 triple. Keep in mind that both sleds will be tweaked out, but have different mods done.

wow that would be tough but I guess if money was no object it could be done you would need a big bore kit for that twin with some wild porting, twin pipes, milled head,reeds,and bigger carbs, I ran an ofset flywheel key in my 500 twin and it worked good

Theres nothing I like more then to have a underdog sled wipe the smile off eveyones face with much larger engines, but come on, your starting with a very low output engine, those were never very impressive even with twin pipes and stuff on them. I just cant see the money invested being worth while, because once the guy with the srx invest money he is untouchable from your range if you know what I mean. Sorry to rain on your party...LOL! Those new 4 strokes are very impressive!! ride one youll love it, they are deceptively fast.

Just curious, what the HP on those 600 twins, about 100 HP??

yup they are around 96 horse or so, 98 for a strong one.
ride it like a rental!!!! and stay in the woods. A buddy stuck a piston in his srx at houghton lake once and outran 3 srx all day on a 488 phazer rental in the woods, he would get 15 minutes ahead all day long he said he never had to lift for corners just a blip and back on the throttle. but not even funny on the lake
