I've got 2 weekends on my Viper now. I did some racing on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday I was racing a Filtered/Clutched RX-1 shorty. We are both running speed tracks so traction on ice isn't an issue. When he got there I was about 1 solid length in front of him. he made some adjustments and we would run side by side. I then switcher to a set of 2 speed Heel Clickers with a Heel clicker primary spring. i left eh secondary the same. Made a couple solo passes and added some more weight and made on more pass on my own. Then I called the RX-1 out to the line. At the end of 660 I was 4 sleds ahead of him. The Clutching change made a huge difference.
Sunday I went out again. I raced several sleds including an F1000. The first race he jumped the start real bad. Not only did I run him down but i passed him on the big end. The next race we left at the same time. When i turned around 300 feet out I couldn't see him or the F7 that he was there with. I also raced an f9. It's in a snow-Pro chassis. I was able to hold it off for over 800 feet. But man did it motor by on the big end. i guess that what a 190 plus hp sled can do. LOL
All in all I'm happy. I'm going to keep tuning it until It's perfect but for the second weekend out I'm pretty happy

I'm trying to nail down the Carburation, and whole shot right now. Then I'll fine tune the clutching.
