I have a 98 SRX that I just finished putting a track into. While doing this removed the wire harness from under the engine and rewrapped the wires. I found two wires that had already rubbed through and been rewrapped, but no others. Before I did this the tach would work intermittently, as well as the fuel gauge. Now the fuel gauge and the Tach do not work at all. Headlights, hand warmers, and taillight all work fine. Did I mess up the wiring, or is there something else that should be checked? My second question is how to bleed my cooling system. I took of the seat, and found the bleed hole in the tunnel, but there was no bleeder screw for the rear heat exchanger. Does this mean that this is not the original heat exchanger? Is the bleed screw in a different spot? Also how do I get the front coolant rail to bleed? When running my sled to work the air out how do I make sure my sled isn’t overheating? Thanks for your help.

You have a bleeder in the rear under the seat and a bleeder in the water rail. No bleeder in the front exchanger.
