ok ok so call me stupid but i cant take it anymore, a guy here that we ride with is always badmouthing yamaha (he is riding a cat f7) i know i know we all bad mouth (joking)to our buddies that my sled is better than ur sled my brand is better etc etc, we have all been there. Anyhow this guy never shuts up really gettin under my skin and same with the rest of us in our group this guy does not ride with us all the time but when he does its bla blaaaaaaaa blaaaaa. I was either going to pound him into the ground but i thought of a better (or maybe)better way to shut him up I challenged him to a race not just any race but a PINKS type race yes for pinks.He agreed with all of us present anyhow that was in the heat of it all, now im not sure if im stupid or not its gona be 5 races back to back. 2 at 500 ft, 1 at 1000 ft. 1 at 1500 and 1 full lake run the lake is about 2.5 miles long.first off wins its gona be the best 3 out of five. now iv'e raced lots of sleds 700,800,900 and i do well i can smoke my friends 7 and 8's hand with the 9's,but i have never hooked a f7 i've herd they are strong. ok heres what i got vers him..............................................

DO I HAVE A CHANCE i think i do ,im sure i do, but im not so sure lol.. did i bite off more than i can chew this time ,will i loose my sled and my investment or will i be the new owner of a f7 ????? if not than i guess ill be taking 1 for the team. or loosing one for that matter. i just want to shut him up o ya i weigh 230 he is around 200. .opinions

1 more thing this will all be on video and ill bost it either way ,,sunday is the deadline.
 
I'd say that he'll get you in the shorter races with that 144" track, but you'll have the edge on the long runs. Good luck.....
 
what kind of track do you have? hes probably gonna get you both times in the 500ft then you are gonna have to get all 3 in a row. i think you should have no trouble beating him in the full lake and the 1500, the decider is gonna be the 1000ft run. i think that you should be able to get him in the 1000ft but you shouldnt leave it up in the air, :nos: get a shot and you should be able to take him down by alot.
 
if he had a repriogrammed cdi box if it's a 500ft box which you can run farther distance than that it's pushing 150+hp.
Whay are you running at 8700
What do you have for clutching?
We could maybe help you out with a lake race set up I would hate to see you lose.
 
your dead .....no one here beat those damm f7 with does upgrade cdi but they can't keep the gaz for more that 1000 feet or a little less cause they burn ...so good luck
 
I think you should do fine, just make sure you are clutched right. As for gearing, odds are he will take you in the 500 ft races because of the longer track and the torque. I would try to gear for the best possible ratio for 1000 ft. If you win that race, you win the sled. I am not that familiar with 1000 ft runs but I am sure someone will get you some good gearing to run. 22/38 should be pretty darn good for that length though. Good luck to you

modsrx you can hold them 500ft boxes longer than a 1000ft.
My buddies f7 with the 500 ft box runs dead even with jeff simons old 780 viper strapped down they run the same mph too in a 1000ft
 
The big problem is , I doubt if there is any way legally to do this. If he backs out "when" you win, there's nothing you can do(except kick his :Moon: ). If you lose and give yours up willingly, your screwed too!!
I wouldnt put myself in this position, I dont see it turning out good either way!
Unless you want to go to Texas like Nospro and srxmagic!lol

I'm Pretty Sure You're Nuts!!!i See You Have Lots Of Mods But I Heard The 99srx Is The Slowest Year They Manufactured.those F7's Are Quick But It's Always Good To Make A Loudmouth Silent. Good Luck I Can't Wait To See The Video.
 
No I think your fnnn nuts, good luck with that 22 top and the 1.250 track your loosing on top. tell him to make sure and tighten his track haha.

and im dont know much on about srx's but isnt 8700 high.

anyways good luck I would make him sign a witnessed contract and his slips and have a neutral person hold them.
