Its a 2000 srx been having a problem with top end i thought that might have something to do with it any info would be a great help thanks :letitsnow :letitsnow

If you are checking it open up the brake pads with a screwdriver and try. They make it hard to turn by hand.

Right you are!! i have a highmiler and have replaced the bearing behind the secondary clutch! It will ruin the jackshaft if it is the culprit. There should be some play there if that is what it is.The chaincase top bearing will go forever unlike the bottom. The stock roters are heavy and make it hard to turn as well.

change both bearings as long as you have the chain and the clutch off. take them off and go to a bearing house, it will cost you under $20.
