I recently put risers on and used Gravityworks cables, I adjusted the oil cable to what I thought was correct. After my last ride checked my oil comsumption and I used 4.8oz/gallon. From what I can remember reading somewhere I should be using about 3oz/gallon. If I'm doing it right you pull the slack out of the line and measure the exposed cable, the book calls for a gap of 22mm, this is on an 00MM 700. I haven't tried to readjust it yet but I don't know if I have enough adjustment left to get this gap. Am I doing it right?

Yes that's how you measure it right there, i think that 22mm is +/-, so
you could go to 23 or 24 and be fine,my srx was at 21 when i got it
and the guy said it loved it's oil, i backed it off to 23..

but you need to first adj. throttle end play, then oil pump
