GATES EXTREME vs YAMAHA BELTS??????

I KNOW YAMAHA MAKES GOOD PRODUCTS BUT HOW DOES A GATES EXTREME STAND UP TO YAMAHA BELTS. WHICH IS A SOFTER COMPOUND

the 8DN will outlast any other belt out there by a long shot.

I dont know about the Gates Belt.....but I do know that the Dayco Ultimax belt tyhey sell to replace the 8DN will rob you of about 200 rpms......and make clutching a nightmare......especially if you're already dialed in with the DN belt.........and yes....the DN will outlast any other belt out there.

I tried the gates belt a few years back ...gets too hot a sticker and is not consistant....the 8DN is the only way to fly....
