Could some one please help me find rear slide springs for my Exciter? I need both left and right rear ones. The dealer here told he could get the left one but not the right one.Would the springs from a 88 Exciter fit. Thanks in advance for any help.

Ok, The part #s are different between the 88 and 89, but they look identical. You may want to try an aftermarket Co. to see if you have better luck. You may want to try Central Snowmobile at 1-800-558-6778, or Als Snowmobile at 1-802-487-1000. Hope that helps. Brad

Thanks nightman. I went there and there isn`t a listing for the rear springs for a 89. I can find front ones. This is the problem I`m having. I also went to Als & central. The yamaha parts cat.has a listing for one but not the other. I sure would hate to junk my Exciter for the sake of rear springs.Hope some one can help me out.

Give those two places a call and talk to them. Don't just look those parts up. I think they would be better able to help you. Brad

Hey
If you couldn't find new ones you could always get good used ones from a wrecker. or try www.recreationsupply.ca for a set of new aftermarket ones.
Thanks,
Russ
