Bender tended to design their pipes to match the OEM RPM specs. At least that's what they've done on the triple pipes. That's one of the reasons that Yamaha actually had Bender triple pipes as an OEM option a ways back.
I can't speak for the twins however.

The M10 is awsome!!! Still tryijng to make adjustments for the ride (which there are infinite possibilities). All in all I'm very pleased. The ProAction really didn't perform very well, and when you look at the valving in the shocks, it's no wonder that A-arms are breaking!!! The geometry in the Proaction is really not optimized.
You thinking of buying one? Call Rich!!

I am quite sure Turk recomended peak to be near or at 8400-8600. I have ran them several seasons, and several thousand kilometers and love them. There was a fellow from Sweden on here a few years back who did some dynoing with them, with mild porting and found them to produce best power at 8600 to 8800.
