I just picked up a motor (used) and when I opened it I found the bell end where the stator is mounted to be cracked off in shipping the damage is confined to the non compression area of the block what everyones opinion on JB or epoxying it together. Shipped on major courier company but I want to ride it would be so easy to fix it and ride by sunday input greatly appreciated

It may work temporarily but I would have it welded for a permanent fix. And it would save a lot of time and trouble if you could find a shop to weld it first thing monday.
If you do bond it, get it very clean first, an electric parts cleaner would work well. Try to clamp it until it is cured with some C-clamps or bar clamps.
