Anyone using this track and do you like it?
I would be putting it on a 2004 viper x.thank you.Where is the best place to get a deal on one and on studs?

I have one on my srx and I love it. The 9830 is suposed to be a good track also. Best price is cbperformance they are a suporter of this website ,talk to bruce. I like extreme max performance stainless carbide tip studs, they are very reasonable, especially at haydays.

Have on on fairly stock 02 Viper and love it.
Was going to wait a year an pick but changed my mind, don't really need it.

I have one on my srx with 192 Roetin hornets and i LOVE that combo, that track really hooks.

Every 3rd clipped is lighter and will get you more speed, quicker acceleration and better fuel economy, but some say that fully clipped is stronger and that with fully clipped you get more snow on the hyfax, so your hyfax last longer.

i have a 1998 srx 700 with a 1" hacksaw, and 144, 1.075 gold diggers down the middle, hooks amazing, its was clipped every 3rd but i fully clipped it. From a good source was telling me that if the non clipped part of the track hits your hyfax it acts like a squeegee and wipes off all the snow, plus it slows you down, there is only a difference of 3 to 5 pounds between clipped all and every 3rd

I have a 1" with 96 down the middle and clipped every third .
It's on an 02 viper and it hooks up strong . I don't notice any problems with the hyfax and I check after every ride . I will tell you that when first starting out you will smell a little rubber , try spraying vegetable oil on the sliders and you'll see a difference .

I was told if you have a lot of snow in your area you ride in to use the every third as you have more snow for hyfax lube. If you have low snow more hard packed trails to use the open window track. Kind of makes sense if you think about it? ;)

I put a predrilled hacksaw on last season. It was only available clipped evevy third. I see this year it is available fully clipped. My track has every window open, clipped every third. From my experience, when you get into snirt, the fully clipped work better. It seems that the rubber drags more dirt between the clips and wears the hyfax on every third clip tracks. On the lake the fully clipped seems to be faster. I don't think the weight has much to do when considering between the two. Hacksaw is a very nice track for a Viper. No clearance problems with studs. You just need to trim the track a little to clear the front heat exchanger guards. Trim the track with a set of Channel Lock end cut fence pliers. You only need to trim about 1/8'' off the tips of the lug, only where it touches the heat exchanger guards.

Thanks for all the help.I ordered one from Richie Rich and studs and anti rachet drivers. Waiting on the ups truck now!
