I have a 98 srx700 that when you run it to wide open it starts to die. The rpms will back off. If you let off then get back on the gas it will take off and run again.it is overreving to about 8800 to 8900. It is a little better if you ease up to full throttle but seems like when you get the throttle to the grip it starts to cutout. Would the power valves be my problem? Thanks Rich.

Have the carbs ever been cleand? how's your plugs look? what size

found what i am sure is the problem. The powervalve cable on the pto side is broke in half. hope this is it. Thanks Rich.

The thing is it will still run 90 to 95 on the speedo. I ordered a new cable suppose to be here wed. Thanks Rich.
