srx electrical problem

Definately sounds like a rubbed through harness

it is all related to the wiring harness under the engine. Do a search and you will find hundreds of posts about it.

You can pull the harness from under the engine out and check for problems. Just tie a rope to the harness so you can snake it back threw. Have you checked the resitance on the sensor ?
