Okay I had all four of my shocks rebuild. Played with preload. I have gotten the rear to ride great, but the steering isn't as responsive as I like. If I reduce the preload on the front shocks does that give me less ski pressure?

Reducing the spring preload will give you less ski pressure. You could try running more carbide or upgrading to a dual keel ski. How is your weight transfer set up? You could try setting up the rear suspension so that it transfers more weight to the front.
