TURK Or MrViper700 CLUTCH HELP PLEASE!!!

I am looking to gain back some top end on my 2004 single pipe Viper. My dealer installed a Green secondary spring, 8DN-17605-20 weights with 90261-06033 (4.5 Gram) rivets 2 in each. The only other mods are engine torque limiter and idler wheel spacers for better Hyfax wear. the sled pulls great in midrange topping out at 8500-8600 RPMS but I lost 5 to 8 MPH top end. Should I try putting the stock secondary spring back in??, install a multi angle Helix (if so what angles)??, or go up one tooth on the top gear???? I am looking for what will work best with the set up I have now without having to buy all new parts.

Might have been that day & those conditions. Day to day performance varies greatly. Put it back to stock & see if top end is the same but try it same day; same conditions.

Turk can you recommend a multi angle Helix that will gain Top End with my current set up??? I still have the stock 47 Helix in it now. Will a diferrent primary spring help, or should I consider gearing changes. I have run the sled several times on the same conditions and with the new set up I gained Midrange but lost top end. I don't necessarily want to go back to stock if I can gain back the top end.

key is the top half rpm - where are you at

on my srx - with a red secondary at 80 deg. I had great mid ( at 8400-8500), but was loosing out on top end ( at 8900). I backed off the windup to 70 and it pulled great at 8500-8600 top end.

the green is a little stiffer than red . you could try a red secondary spring. (stock for srx...I got one cheap if interested)

running 8500 to 8600 RPM's top end WOT on extreamly hard packed snow on top of perfectly flat ice.

Run stock clutching again & see if it makes a diff. If not it might be related to something different. You must 1st isolate the reason the sled is slower.

I agree with turks idea to try the stock stuff and see if it picks up mph or not, otherwise it could be a power issue from engine, then no amount of clutching will work.
