The sleds were as follows; 07 Attack, 07 phazer, 07 Dragon, 07 F8(Tony Stewert) and 05 900 fusion. Just let me tell you all these sleds are pretty awesome. Out of these sleds I have to say I liked the Attack the best, not just because Im a yamaha guy. The Motor in the attack made me smile and laugh every time I pulled the trigger. Next came the Dragon, so much fun to drive, things just leaps out of the hole and the corners. Also jumps awesome, like nothing I have every ridden. F8 was next very very close to the dragon. It was the fastest out of the bunch, by far the best artic cat I have ever driven, awesome handle, awesome power. Next came the phazer, fun sled took a little to get use to, seemed to be a little tippy at first, needs a lot of body lean to make it work, power was plenty for the trails, across the lake i had it about 3/4 going about 70 on the speedo, fun sled. Last came the fusion, damn that thing vibrates. The fusion has had some work to it and it was the second fastest sled out there. All in all had a great time, it was cold and yes the phazer was by far the coldest sled of the bunch. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

i lined up with that f8 a couple times. was pretty much neck and neck. i was set to almost no transfer, but even if i turned it up and didnt spin so bad i wouldnt have got him by much. i was having issues though. was topping out at 115 on the speedo. i could do that last year on the trail!
I haven't drove a f8 yet but got to drive a dragon your right it's apolaris but it's a fun sled and very light and it's fast the guy let me drive it but I didn't race against anything.
The attack that I got to drive did not have any studs in it, the f8 and dragon both did. When we did a rolling start from about 50 and punched it the f8 just creaped ahead by about a half a sled.

If you set the ATTAKs rear skid up ,you will see a huge difference in holeshot on hardpack snow. In some testing last week ,we saw gains of 6-8 lengths off the line between two '07 ATTAKs. As for the Dragons, guys are complaining about no top end again like always with the Poo's. They say they are quick up to 90, then hit a wall. 900 Fusions are bad news........so bad I think it may have been the icebreaker for Polaris. There are alot of rumors from some pretty solid sources that Polaris is pulling out in a couple years. There are dealers around the area that are sitting on hundreds of leftover product going back 5 years.

i think im going to sell the attak, the trailer and my truck. just sick of things for now and need a break from it. just a bad year for snow, frusterated with vendors not delivering what they promise, work schedule makes me ride solo 90% of the time, etc. with the cost of the truck, sled, trailer and riding its probably $1,000 a month year round. i just want to reduce my bills and start saving for a house. ill get a nice car (dont care for trucks as daily drivers) and maybe keep my pro x (not worth much anyways) and a small 1 place trailer that a car can haul. ill get pics tomorrow. basically its a stock 06 attak, 900 miles, 9 tooth extroverts, fully clipped ripsaw with 162 stainless studs with 36 scratch lines, slydog skis with new 8" bergstroms, 13mm sway bar, 07 rtx seat black a-arms off a gt and pearl white bodywork. i was thinking $6,500. if you want to check it out and go for a beat run i have off of work tomorrow.yamaholic22 said:Damn you shoulda called me, i woulda loaded up my $hit and came out there and had a balllol But yea, what's the deal with that Attak? Why you selling? Got something new coming at ya? What did you have in mind? You can pm back with what you're looking to get for it if you didn't wanna post it. Also, i have seen it since you did all the stuff to it, you have any pictures?

i love the sport, but i need to go back to the the basics like i use to do. its just too much now. ill be happier with less financial burden. i just need to figure out what to get for a car. i still have a few months to deciede. i would like something like a lancer evo or an IS 350.
Hey Mike, it was a lot of fun, we started out on little muskeago and took the trails over to your parts to Tichagan. Stoped at capt. Missys for a bite to eat and headed back. The only part that sucked is that we lost dave on Little. My buddies just took off down the lake and didn't wait. Next thing you know there is no dave at all. And my buddies are half way to tichagan. So I tried to catch up to them and by the time I did Dave was stuck on the lake. So that kinda sucked. Hey Dave if you are serious I will talk to my bro about your sled, He really loved riding the attak, its such a awesome sled. How much for the trailer?

get a cheaper car and keep the sled lol! lancers are neat, but can be unreliable. lexus is nice, but I feel overpriced a bit. but they are really well built (it is toyota) and look sharp.n2oiroc said:i love the sport, but i need to go back to the the basics like i use to do. its just too much now. ill be happier with less financial burden. i just need to figure out what to get for a car. i still have a few months to deciede. i would like something like a lancer evo or an IS 350.

i dont know what to get, it has to be in the lower $30,000 range, something fun (275+hp), that handles good, is reliable and has decent resale value. that leaves lexus and perhaps an acura. maybe the new gen accord will fit too and be cheaper. my truck payment is already $525, so a cheaper car wont help much. heck, i could go out and buy a new Z06 and have a smaller monthly payment than my current sledding setup.03viperguy said:get a cheaper car and keep the sled lol! lancers are neat, but can be unreliable. lexus is nice, but I feel overpriced a bit. but they are really well built (it is toyota) and look sharp.
