I know a guy who has a 4" PowerMadd riser and the pivot adapter (1 3/4") on his SX600 without replacing any cables, ...that makes it 5 3/4 inches.
I heard that I can only get a 4" riser on my sled without changing cables, but after seeing his sled, I'm wondering if it's possible to do what he did?
Cheers.

I have a four inch riser on mine with the Apex handle bars on it and was fine, but that is with the Apex bars on it. I wouldn't go anymore than a four inch.

Id be more worried about having enough brake line length than throttle cable length. Ive got a Powermadd articulating riser conversion kit with a 2" Pro-X riser block on my sled. Its a total rise of 4 1/2" and I didnt need to make any throttle cable or brake line mods. I had to cut some zip ties to give me more brakeline and throttle cable length and I moved my brake in about 1", but I made it work.
Personally, I wouldnt wanna go any higher than 4" unless you were riding powder all the time where you were always standing up.

Ya, I'm 6'2 and I'll be standing up alot. There's alot of Yes-mams here since we don't have groomed trails here yet (still a few years away).
So I might go with the 1 3/4" Powermadd pivot adapter and the 3" riser block. I guess a 4 3/4" rise should be OK?
Cheers.

I have 6inch risers with stright bars curved bars on mine. my risers are for a choppers harleys or what not. but they look the same as rox risers kinda and i payed 30 bucks on ebay for them soo just savin money. but my set up i think its about as tall as i could go with stock lines, my throtle is pretty tight brake line still has some play..... I would say 4inch pivot style with apex bars or some other motocross bars 2inch in hight would be perfect.

Im not sure how high you can go on a Venom before you need brakeline and throttle cable extensions.
Like I said, I went 4 1/2" on my Polaris and didnt have to make any mods, but Im not sure about the Venom.
I like how my bars are now. I can ride standing up, but the bars are not to tall that I cant ride sitting down.

If the Venom setup just like the Viper then you can go as high as 2 in. I added a 3 in riser and the brake cable was too tight. I would rather have room on the brake line than snap it on the trail at any speed. New stainless brake line from Powermadd $40. I rerouted the oil cable, throtle and brake line. Stock bars which I think are the same as your venom? I'm 6"4', and I it made the sled more comfortable. I need to do the seat riser next?

Well I went out and got a PowerMadd Pivot Adapter Kit and a 2" PowerMadd Riser.
I must say that it fits my sled perfect. Just the right height (3.5") for sitting down and standing up. Anymore height and it would be uncomfortable when sitting (my fist is the same height as my shoulders now, perfect!).
Cheers.
