is the kill button on a srx routed through the cdi unit? anyhow heres what happened .my kill button has always worked but 3 weeks ago when dismounting the sled after shutting it off with the kill button my coat hooked it and broke it off in the off position .I disconnected the switch and have been riding since than using the key, works fine. so I ordered a new kill button it finally came in. so i installed it yesterday but it wont kill the sled.i checked it on my friends srx the button is good.I checked all wires no breaks everything connected.maybe when it broke it shorted out a circuit through the cdi?? any ideas???
the kill switch just grounds out the cdi, thats how it works.same with the keyswitch. I would connect a ohm meter to the new switch and check it.

thats what i thought but somthin funky going on here.just went out ridin and the switch is intermitant works sometimes some times not guess the new switch is faulty.
