Yes, it's true. I cannot figure out a trick to get my rear suspension bolted back into the tunnel. I have the front and the rear bolts in, but I cannot get the middle bolts in. Any help in a process is greatly appreciated!!!

Loosen the bolts at the bottom of the transfer rods, not the bolt that holds it onto the rail but the actual bolt on the bottom of the rod, this will give you a little room to play with. I found it's the only way I can get it back in.

I've had mine out a couple times, and didn't need to loosen the control rod bolts. I think I started up front, got the middle ones, and then the rear-est. I tied the tunnel to a rafter, then used a jack to place the skid into the tunnel. I've also done it with the sled on it's side. You pull the track out 90*, place the skid in there, and move them both into the tunnel. Good luck!
put the front in , then the middle but you will need to loosen the transfer rod bolts to help remove the preload...new sleds have quite a bit more then the older proactions...once the middle is in tighten the transfer rod bolts and that will pull the suspension back in to line up with the rear holes. There is more info in the tech pages...

Track stand or hoist really makes it easier!
I use a track stand that has several different height adjustments to get the suspension back in. Usually I just lift it high enough to slide the suspension into the tunnel. Then I will align the front bolts, screw them in loosely. Then you have to loosen the transfer rod bolts and have someone lower the sled with the stand or jack or hoist until the middle bolts line up. Then once you have those in, you can start to tighten the control rod bolts, until the rear bolts line up. Have fun :-)
