I am looking to fix up the suspension on my sled (95 Vmax 600 dx). And the center shock/spring seems to be somewhat difficult to come by (Power Motor Sports carries the OEM, but very pricey and I'm not sure if it is in stock).
Perusing the Forums it looks like some of the slightly more modern suspensions are bolt on compatable (XTC for example). Are there any other Yamaha rear suspensions which are bolt on compatible?
On a related note, If I found a rear suspension from an XTC which has a somewhat longer travel... is it safe to assume that it would raise the rear of the sled and change the weight distribution on the Ski's? And isn't that a bad thing?
