viper track questions

i know i have asked this before but i forgot, will a 1.25 track studded fit a viper and what do u guys suggest for a track hacksaw maybe? also i know someone mentioned i need 8 tooth drvers but will i also need to re gear the sled it has stock gears in it what would i need? also will clutching need to be done it is set up wit simons cpr pipes and head mod wit vforce reeds, i just dont want to loose any performance or speed that i have now thats my biggest issue
 
You will have to run the 8 tooth drivers, change the gear or gears in the chaincase etc to correct for the speedo.
I have a Viper S, which has the ripsaw track stock, so if I decide to stud, I also have to add the tunnel strips and exchanger protection.
I am pleased with the ripsaw, but ice is ice. My only trip so far this year was in northern Wi. where every corner was bad, so I had to slow way down in the curves.
If the trails would have had decent snow on them, it would have been a better trip.
Studding is never a bad thing, just a bit expensive and time consuming with a Viper / ripsaw combo.
I may drop down to a 1 inch hacksaw or preditor and stud. Time well tell.
