The Ohlins will run cooler which will be more consistent and offer a little bit more travel.
The linear rate of the Ohlins springs work real well in the proaction skid. This allows the full travel of the skid to be used more effectively.
Also, as Expert says they won't fade nearly as much as other shocks.

Cool - Thanks Ding and terret725 - I got them in Sunday, heading up north (UP) to try them out this weekend!
Just having it in the garage - they seem to go thru the travel at a smoother rate (instead of just either up or down)
