When my sled is idleing the Tach works fine. It is when i start to rev up past around 4000 that the tach either jumps wildly or just drops to 0. However the fuel gauge works fine. Is there a voltage regulator problem. I already fixed the harness rub through under the motor. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Thanks

Check your smoothing condensor. It's the small tube shaped device w/ 2 wires coming out of it. I think on the srx it's located above the left foot rest. The easiest way to check is to swap one w/ someone else for a bit.
