I thought it was recovered after the theft?
I have had shocks revalved and it makes a world of difference if they know what there doing.I suggest sendine them to pioneer performance.

I had mine revalved by Maxximum Performance in Dec. of 03', cost me $214. Told them my weight, riding style, and kind of trails I ride, etc... They revalved and resprung them and sent them back. Well worth the money spent, rides very good, a little softer than stock. -Ed

Do it, for a revalve it is like 40 bucks a peice, deff. a softer and nicer ride if your not a sno cross racer

What is wrong with your sled after getting it back? You said they had to fix it! I would be ripping if i was you, that was one of the sharpest looking sleds i've seen!

I just got mine done by Bruce at Pioneer Perf. and he did a great job. I had my rear viper and our sxr600 rears done for around $200.00 He did a great job and got them back in about a week.
Is it worth it? Yes! It rides so much better in the stutter bumps, very noticeable. I can still ride it real hard too without bottoming or feeling too soft. I haven't hti any big jumps yet, but I don't think it'll be a problem.

They had rolled it over and busted the hood and faring and winshield, Also the trailing arm is busted. The snow flap is knocked off and it looks like they spun the track on roads, Many studs are bent and some rubber lugs are missing. I need a complete hood and everything attached to it and a track and studs and also a rear bumper. Up Here in canada thing are a little more expensive than down in the states. The book value is somewere around $4500 for a clean viper with low miles, So far the estimated at $4100 in repairs.yahadriver23 said:What is wrong with your sled after getting it back? Even if they do decide to repair the machine its going to leave a bad taste in my mouth. My machine was mint and seing the present state of the machine makes me wonder if i want it back.

Can you post some pics of the sled in the current state? I can under stand if you had rather not! Just like to see what your dealing with. I'm hurting for you. Can't even imagine what your going thru. -Ed

I would think of taking a settlement if i had an extra 2 to 3 grand but i dont so i guess i will see what type of offer they give me and take it from their.

That stinks man! I loved the look of your viper, wish mine could look like that. Even when my sled is at my house i have it chained up. But i guess if they really want to steal it they will just cut it anyways, but it makes me feel better when im gone

wow almost 4 grand in damage..ouch..its so hard to find a low mile sled here in quebec. before i bought my srx the lowest i found was 8000kms.. hopefully everything turns out good for you..dont feel bad i havent went for a ride in 2 weeks its not worth messing up my back and sled for them bumpy trails

back to the revalve topic,, I haven't done my 02 either and am thinking about doing it this offseason. If you get yer sled back let me know if you do get yers done Quebec. I'm in Canada as well and am wondering if there is anyone decent on this side of the border or if not, what it would cost to ship my 4 to the states to be done. Jeff

You're being too soft with your insurance company. At the very least if you're going to take the settlement, insist on buying the sled at salvage value. And hit them up for more than $4500; you can't buy that sled here in Canada for that.
