Alright. I finally got the sled running yesterday...bad cdi was the culprit. When i first started it up it ran good and had all my lights and did't even look at the speedo.I put everything back together and tonight went out to take her for a quick spin. Started it up and the warning light is flashing constantly. It is flashing steadily. Doesn't seem to be flashing a code. Everything seems fine. I took it across the yard runs great but did't want to have something really go wrong. The caition light and the engine light are both lighting up at the same time. Any suggestions?

continues flashing is the water temp indicator, its reading its overheating.
Does the sled when you first start it flash 2 times?
watch the light and see if the sequence pauses for a instant or keeps on flashing.
the sled have more then a 1/4 tank of fuel?

I'll check to make sure i did't forget to plug in water temp sensor tommorrow. It flashes steadily. It blinks twice quickly when you fire it up then flash , pause flash pause so on so on.

check that and then you need to count the flashes in between the pause, this is the code to point you in the direction of the problem.
more then a 1/4 tank of gas too, or more then 1 bar on fuel guage when sitting flat?

I was under the impression overheating would give you a light solid light on all the time. I thought continuous flashing (3/4 second on, 1 3/4 seconds off) meant the variable resistor in the handwarmers was seen as disconnected or open? I could be wrong on this, but my flashing light on my sled turned out to be a wire rubbed through to the control knob for my grips? Jeff
