2001 SRX...what's it worth?

I found 2 virtually brand new 2001 SRX's in southern Minnesota . One has 65 miles on it, the other has 56 miles on it. The guy bought them leftover in the crate in 2004 and later injured his leg and was layed up for a long time and never got to ride them again. They are bone stock, untouched other than a carb cleaning as of late. What do fellow TY members think they are worth each? I am leaving on a sled trip this weekend and will check this post out when I get home late Sunday. At that time I will post what he is asking. I just wanted to get eveyone's opinion first. IMO, I think he is way too high. :letitsnow

Thanks guys. Well he wanted $4600. You guys seem to think it's worth more than I thought. I was guessing high $3000's around this area. I think he paid $5200 for them in 2004. I know the dealer he got them from and I remember what they wanted for them. Maybe I'll call him in the spring to see if he sold them.

i realize i just back into the game, but 02 in other brands will maybe go for 3000.
i truely believe people are asking to much for there stuff and feal if they can't get
what they'll do is put it away forget about them until they are worth something.
just my two cents.
 
no way would I pay that much for a stock machine when you can find a mod reliable viper for less you know I am right becuse I have one and I found it here on TY....

With only 56 or 65 miles on them you are basically getting a brand new sled - that is half the price of a new sled and just over half the price of what an SRX sold for new - this is one of, if not the best sled Yamaha ever built - I've had six of these sleds and still have three - I can't bring myself to give them up!! - I don't think I would bat an eye at giving $4600 for one that is like new with only 56 or 65 miles on it - whats the guys number, I might as well have one more!!! ;)!
