mrviper lake race port job,lightweight wrist pins, cut heads, 22-38 gearing, 8dn20 with 4.5 inner and outer, 52-43 mrviper cut helix wraped at 70,www primary, green secondary, stock pipes,sled pulls strong til 90 than rpms goes to 8600 and the pull slows up , doing radar runs tomorrow and need to get this straight, any help would be great

for radar runs, I would run the stock 23 top sprocket in chancase, this will load the engine more and drop rpm slightly. Also would play with the rear secondary spring, drop it 10 degrees at a time till it gets topspeed up, you will have to feather the throttle off the line when you do this, not smash it wide open or it will suck the belt. radar is about speed, not Elapsed time, the longer your on the course the more speed you can build, dont try to drag race it.

what distance? I had the same sled, porting by mrviper and ran 24/38 for 2000ft. Your clutching is pretty much good, I'd run the stock red spring, its faster than the green. Check one of my last posts for chassis setup.
