carb synchronization?

I want to set my carbs wile i have them out for cleaning, Yamaha wants
us to use 1.2mm(.047 in) but i can't seem to find something that size
to measure with(allen,feeler gauge(wire) ), shows to measure
in the throat at the slide in front, what do you guy's use???

it's for my srx..

I use two or three drill bits of the same size, depending on the number of carbs. I just did my 500 twin, one slider is adjusted by the idle speed screw, the other is adjusted on top of the slider. Once they are set to the same opening height, just turm the idle screw down before you start the motor.

Thanks, yea i know how too just need to find a measuring tool that small,
1.2mm is small lol
