mixing gas

Can you give me your opinions on the ratio of gas and oil to mix for a 79 Exciter 440? I heard so many different opinions. I usually mix my other older sleds 40:1.

40:1 is good. I allways used Torco oil in all my sleds. You could go 50:1 but I never did. Dean-o

Thanks. It is just another sled I picked up and the guy has the oil injection unhooked.

I have the same issue on my 1992 exciter and I mix 50:1 and use amsoil hp injector 2cycle oil or yamalube 2S is also good
