Help spindle recall info 97

I just bought a used set of ski spindles off of ebay from a 1997 Vmax 700sx. I remember a recall on my 97 Vmax for the spindles--I think they had bad heat treat and had the potential for cracking. Anyway to visually inspect and know if the spindles I bought are not the recalled variety???? Thanks
 
Maxdlx--Thanks! The one I bent was from a 97 MM sled that I bought used--sure bent easy too and it was necked down smaller in Dia in between the two bushing dia's--that must be what you mean. The one I bought is a constant dia top to bottom so it must be the improved version. Do I have that right???? Luckilly I bought a pair so i think I will just go ahead and replace the other side too.
