What's the longest chain made for a Viper or SRX. I've got a 72 tooth Viper/SRX chain in my MM. It's got the northern lites (www.nlites.com) D/R cut and welded chaincase. I've got 18/40 gears in it now, but I think I'm a little tall on gears now since I'm losing a little bit of RPM on top (maybe 8250 on top on a long flat...). I was at 19/39 before with 8T drivers (2.52 pitch). Now that I've got 9T drivers (also 2.52 pitch). The 19/39 combo was just about all I could get out of the 72 tooth chain. Anyone know if a longer one is made so I could run 19/42 gears?
Thanks!!

polaris uses 74 and 76 pitch hyvo chains. even longer ones on the new sleds. should be the same as long as your gears are 3/4" wide. https://www.erlandsonperformance.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=EPI&Category_Code=chai

So the SRX and Viper chains are Hyvo or the gears will accept a Hyvo chain?
Thanks for the info!

Great info!! It would be nice if we'd compile a list of interchangable parts to the Tech section of this site.....even cross brand interchangeability. I understand that Polaris gears fit both the drive and jackshaft on Yammis.
Thanks!
