Anybody know the torque for the head and sequence for 97 Mountain Max ?

do each cylinder in a star pattern or criss-cross pattern starting with the center cylinder and go to 24 ft-lbs on the cylinders and 17-18 ft-lbs on the head

Aslong as your still on ,what about using coppercoat or just put the gaskets on dry.

Do thos torq's in two steps
1'st is 9.4 ft. lbs.
2'nd is 18 ft. lbs.
1'st is 9.4 ft. lbs.
2'nd is 18 ft. lbs.

If you split your gasket. Copper coat is a yes
