I want to know if there is better weight than the 8-bu-00 that i run in my sleed with my psi triples. I had buy 8-bu-10 too, but I dont had the time to try them, so I dont know if they are better. If anyone had experience with theses pipes let me know your comments. Thanks

89L,s are a little too aggressive with psi,s unless you run a real shallow helix. I actually got 8cr,s to work very well & they have a fairly aggressive profile.

But are they better than 8-BU? Because I talked with some tuner and they tells me 8-Bu are the more agressive. But they run srxs. I read every article on this site and they all talk about 89L. I never try them and I want to know if they worth it before bougth them. Or if I will be ok with my 8-bu for drag racing. Thanks

I think the 89L's are for the stock single pipe. 8CH are stock.

Stock pipe and PSI are running two different RPM ranges. PSI runs at 9100 stock is at 87 or 8800..........I think.

If your lucky Turk will chime in again.

well 89L's also work well with bender pipes, but benders seem to have a little more torque down low and dont rev as high as the psi's do. You could try the 8CR as turk suggested, they have a moderately aggressive profile all the way through, i think the 8DN-20s would probably work well on a piped sx too.

Another question. If I presently run 8000rpm with my 8-bu and psi, which effect will result of getting out my 14.5mm roller and replace them by 15 or 15.6mm? I want to reach 8300rpm. Is this as good as reduce my weights?

8200 RPM's is with the stock single pipe. Apples

9000 - 9200 RPM's is ideal rpm range for PSI pipes. Oranges

So the psi set up in the clutch tuning and jetting page is not the best. They say we will loose power over 8200rpm. Thanks

On the tech pages that is for center dump PI's, not PSI's. PI's are power inc's, and psi's are psi's. Two completely different pipes that run COMPLETELY different.
