Viper Rpms

No it won't damage the engine but your losing alot of power and speed .Add a heavier rivet in the outer hole in your weights.Alot of the vipers had a bad over rev which some lossed as much as 10 mph wide open.

Hey- good question! If you don't mind me cutting in a little here, I have pipes and had them on my old viper and it blew! 3900 miles and best of care. I got another one back w/ just a shade over 400 miles on it but never fogged!? Is 9000 rpm really that hard on these or are there just a lot of freak crank/rod problems? Also my bone stock one over revs to 9k rpms also. Thanks for any input!
