I have checked power valves, stator, coils, plug caps, all wiring under the motor and Throttle position sensor (TORS is unhooked). My 2001 SRX will load up from 5000 to 7500 RPMs and goes way rich. It will not go over 7500 on the ack stand. It will foul the plugs as well. The carbs are clean and the floats are set.
Could this be a CDI problem only thing I have not changed or checked

tell me you mean the tors is bypassed and not just unhooked. also the tors and throttle position sensor are two different things. tps unhooked wont let sleds computer work correctly. if tors is just unhooked, sled just wont rev up and acts like the choke is on.

other things to check are, choke stuck on, not the button but the slide that controls them on the front of the carbs. this gets sticky sometimes.

make sure your carb slides are all lifting. ive seen the screws come out of the nuckle that holds the slide to the rail. one slide just sits closed while the others open up, motor is starving one cylinder.

Yes the TORS is by passed, Yes the resistance of the TPS is good. Yes the slides are all functioning. Yes the choke plungers are in the closed state and working free.
