Problem with the sled again ughh

[2002 viper]

The sled a 2002 Yamaha Viper stock is smoking alot...it has been for 2 days now...it only has about 4 miles on it for the year...but in those 4 miles it keeps smoking....and now 2nite the oil light comes on but it has oil in itand now it has the over heating like come on...what can be the problem?

check the oil cable, it may be pulled apart at the adjustment in the middle. this will cause it to use alot of oil.

as for the light, 02 vipers had an issue with the sending unit, you need to drill a hole in the top of the float. if you do a search you may find pictures of this.
