Have a 97 700 sx that i just put a crank and new rings in and the pto side head gasket will not quit seeping. Should i run it a little and get it warm to see if that will help? Thanks Rich.
Did you install a new gasket or spray the copper permatex adhesive on old gasket before you reinstalled the head?
I installed all new gaskets. Tha motor has been apart for quite a while. Is it possible that the head is warped? Thanks Rich.

it may be possible if it wasn't dissamble and assembled correctly step torqued in a cross pattern

Put a strait edge on the head and see what it shows
I used the torqe step that is in the service manual. I have the boy out riding right now behind the house to see if it will quit. Thanks Rich. He put about 2 miles on it and right now it is not leaking. Will see when it cools down. Well now have 35 miles on it and still no leaks. Thanks again Rich.
